We feed water and fertilizer to plants and enjoy watching their growth
and bearing of fruit. This visible effect can sometimes mislead us
believers to a wrong and dangerous perception that I actually grew
the tree and make it bear the fruit.
But,
this misperception can be as dangerous
as you
say, "I am God."
We can
easily forget His sovereignty and grace
as it
is not clearly visible in our eyes.
Remember it is not us but God who grows the tree.
Try to live in His grace all the time!
"So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything,
but only God, who makes things grow."
